CHILD’s Trust aims to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, it has been a registered charity since 1999 and
currently supports nine different projects across India.
SKCVis a registered charity in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, South India. Through
a wide range of programmes, it reaches out to homeless street children who have no
other form of support. Presently running seven centres in the city, it offers shelter,
accommodation, food, skills training, education, medical aid, recreation and counselling.
Based in Rajpur, just north of Dehradun in the state of Uttarakhand, KHW - India
is committed to projects which work towards “a poverty free and just world where
all children have equal opportunity and access to develop their full potential.”
It is the India affiliate of Kinderhilfswerk Global Care, Germany, which currently
serves in fourteen developing countries worldwide.
CRY India (Child Rights and You) is a peoples' movement for the rights of India's
children encompassing diverse segments, each pledging their particular strengths,
working in partnership for their common cause.
PanosLondon promotes the participation of poor and marginalised people in national
and international development debates through media and communication projects. It
is part of the worldwide Panos Network of independent institutes working to ensure
that information is used more effectively to foster debate, pluralism and democracy.
